Matthew Rhys - The Americans
Matthew Rhys (born November 8, 1974 in Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom) studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London and soon after in 1993, was awarded the Patricia Rothermere Scholarship.
Rhys is known for his Emmy-nominated role as Philip Jennings on the drama series The Americans where he stars opposite Keri Russell. It is a 1980s Cold War drama about KGB sleeper agents.
Rhys also starred as Kevin Walker on the TV drama, Brothers & Sisters (2006-2011), and in the films, The Edge of Love (2008), as Dylan Thomas and as Reece in Burnt (2015).
