Demi Moore Wins First Acting Award

Demi Moore has won Best Female Actor in a Musical or Comedy Film for her performance in "The Substance."

During her acceptance speech, Moore revealed that the script for the feminist fable came to her during one of the lowest points in her life.

She also shared a key takeaway from the film,“I’ll just leave you with one thing that I think this movie is imparting,” Moore said of the film. “In those moments, when we don’t think we’re smart enough, or pretty enough, or skinny enough, or successful enough, or basically just not enough: I had a woman say to me, ‘Just know, you will never be enough, but you can know the value of your worth if you just put down the measuring stick.”
